Get expert, virtual treatment from our licensed therapists from the comfort of home at OCD North, the only clinic in Alberta focused exclusively on OCD therapy treatment.
With fewer psychiatrists and overcrowded ERs, Albertans, especially those in rural areas working in industries that power society, are struggling to get the mental health care they deserve.
OCD North provides expert care for individuals struggling with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) throughout Canada. Our virtual clinic offers specialized treatment options tailored to kids, teens, and adults, ensuring personalized care that meets each patient’s unique needs in any province.

For some, the process of going into an office for therapy is part of the experience — the time spent traveling to and from an appointment provides invaluable time to think, process, and reset. Especially if your drive takes you near Alberta’s National Parks.
But what if there aren’t enough OCD specialists near you?
Alberta has fewer psychiatrists per capita than the national average and long wait times for mental health services, forcing many to seek care in emergency rooms instead of with specialized professionals.
For those working essential, yet rural and isolating jobs such as farming and in fossil fuels, access is even more limited. Many families are forced to turn to general community services that weren’t designed for specialized mental health care.
As one of the only clinics specializing only in OCD treatment, we know OCD is often misdiagnosed and quality care can be hard to come by. In Alberta’s vast rural communities, families are left searching for answers with few local resources to turn to.
Research shows online therapy is just as effective as in-person sessions, especially for evidence-based treatments like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD.
Whether you’re a parent in Calgary supporting a child with OCD, living in rural Alberta where specialists are hard to find, or simply looking for accessible, expert OCD care, our online therapy removes barriers and makes specialized treatment available anywhere in Alberta.
No matter where you live in the province, OCD North brings expert OCD treatment directly to you — so you can receive the care you need from the comfort of your home.
