How does HRT Work?

HRT teaches you that there’s a reason you feel compelled to pick your skin (called excoriation disorder) or pull your hair (called trichotillomania), and once we understand that reason, we teach you competing responses that compare to the sensation or reason why you pick or pull in the first place. Combined with relaxation training, your brain learns to no longer rely on these behaviours.
